My name is Maggie Cass. I am a private piano instructor offering lessons from my home studio located in the Killearn Estates neighborhood in Tallahassee, FL. Teaching music is very rewarding for me, and I've been privileged to work with many wonderful students over the past twenty-five years.
I grew up in upstate New York, and have also lived in northern Virginia, southern California, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. My husband David is on the faculty at FSU and we have two young sons. We've been enjoying Tallahassee since 2013 and plan to stay put!
I attended the Eastman School of Music, where I earned a Bachelor of Music as a piano primary with a focus on music education. I've been an elementary school music teacher and choir conductor, private vocal coach, theory tutor, private piano instructor, and have performed as a soloist and accompanist in many settings. I'm a current member of the MTNA, FSMTA, and am currently serving as the Vice-President of the Tallahassee Music Teachers Association.
